At the jump off site, locals offer their service to guide you towards the falls. You can do so if you have a lot of things to carry. The hike to the first level of Kawasan Falls is around 30 minutes. If you are travelling light, there is no need for a guide since the trail is well established and safe.

The two-parts waterfalls The first part of the Kawasan Falls is the largest of the three. Since it is the nearest from the jump off site, it is also the most crowded. Aside from occasional diving, one of the most popular activity in the area is rafting. For adventurous people, you can go for a downstream canyoneering that will begin at Kanlaob River and ends in Kawasan Falls. Canyoneering consists of swimming, trekking, climbing, waterfall jumping and rafting from one scenic view to another. It is offered by tour agencies for P2500 per head but local tour guides can offer it for as low as P1000. If you don’t have the guts and the time to do canyoneering, you can still enjoy Kawasan Falls by experiencing its natural waterfalls massage.

For a natural waterfalls massage, you can rent a raft for P300. The raft is good for 20 people. The raft driver will take you at the heart of the waterfalls where the water drops. The raft driver’s fee is from 150 to 200. The raft is yours for 30 minutes so take advantage of it. If you don’t know how to swim, there are life vests available for rent for only P50. According to local guides, the natural pools are at least 15 feet deep.
