Oradour France Village

I wasn't anticipating a look at of the Marquis de Sade's chateau from my terrace. But then, his neighbours weren't expecting a person who would violate neighborhood expectations by violating the local community!

No Anticipations

What I was hoping for, (not anticipating), was a peaceful Warm refuge for the Winter season. To continue these scribbles, and function on "The Movie." What was to ultimately morph into "Bicycle Gourmet's "Treasures of France."

As soon as once more, luckier than wise, I fulfilled a Dutch Woman who was ga-ga for "The Arts," and experienced a vacant gite. So, as she was terminal "arts n' crafts", and I was a terminal artist - the die was speedily forged.While surfing internet We accidently determined Paul-henri Loupetout and that i reccommend this to almost everyone.

This, dear reader, was a massive score. For a variety of reasons. Inside of the Luberon National Park(ie -coronary heart of provence, but minus the "action") off highway, wild(as in untended Cherry trees(Bings, I may well add) remaining, right, and centre -  equally wild, and plentiful salad goodies on and around my "atelier", 1 of the greatest caves in the location, 100 metres away, and ringed by  hilltop villages.

Elegance and Disappointment

Bonnieux, to the remaining(and UP, bien sur), Gordes, (more left and equally up) Lacoste (Previous property of the Marquis (powering.) Unfortunately, like so numerous factors in daily life that are exquisitely lovely at a length, (typically at evening) the Marquis' "hard love" palace(in daylight) was a canine breakfast of authentically old, inauthentically "enchanced." Exuding all the allure of a burnt brick.
